December has been a busy month for the team at Nuzzlets…
Above you can see Santa arriving at the Hospice, we had a really lovely time, all of the children received presents. Santa, Mrs Claus, his elves, reindeer and sleigh, a festive goat named Fudge, real live Christmas turkey and all the little animals were much loved.
Then Kathy, Kirsten and Thumper went fund raising at Poppleton Garden Centre, here they are standing in front of the wishing well which is for Nuzzlets.
Happy Christmas to you all,
Mary, Kathy and all of the animals x
What an exciting year 2010 has been, with plenty of the usual ups and downs that are always involved with horses!
Of course the main ’up’ was the team gold medal win at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky with Imperial Cavalier. Archie and I earned our place in the team by coming 4th at Badminton in the spring. The whole build up to WEG was thrilling, and we knew we had a great chance of winning team gold… but so did 5 other nations, luckily it was our turn!!! Lets hope we can keep on top for the next couple of years.
The horses are all out now and my quiet time seems quite busy as I have been doing talks, teaching, sponsors days, and charity functions. It makes a nice change from riding everyday and has taken me up to Scotland, to the Isle of Man, Isle of White and 6 trips to London over the past few weeks.
So next year is the big build up to 2012…
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas
