Michaela Strachen and Tom Joule present the award for Best Coastal Path
Last night we were at the Coast Awards where we celebrated the seaside, people and places that Coast magazine readers, love best. TV presenter Michaela Strachan awarded the winners at the wonderful ceremony.
As always, Best British Beach and Best Seaside Holiday Destination were voted entirely by Coast readers. For the other categories, the top three nominations were submitted to the judging panel, last December, to decide the eight remaining winners.
Highlights included Holkam beach being crowned the Best British Beach for the third year running and Norfolk Coast Path winning the Joules award for Best Coastal Path.
