Joules Wellympic Games

With the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony taking place this evening we wanted to share with you the thrills and spills of the 2012 Joules Wellympic Games! Last week Joules HQ headed to our local country park, dressed for the weather in ponchos and wellies, for our summer celebration.

We competed in the 2012 Joules Wellympic Games, enjoyed a delicious BBQ and danced to music by The Joules Town Hall Badgers. The teams competed in the Egg & Spoon Race, the Three Legged Race, the Sack Race, the Wheelbarrow Race, the Piggy Back Race, some Welly Wanging culminating in the Carrot Relay. Fun was had by all as we raced to win rosettes for the hotly contended Bronze, Silver and Golden wellies.

So the results… in third place were team Mumbles, in second team Norwich and the winning team were team Southwold! Our eyes will be on The Games for the next 17 days and then we’ll be putting team Southwold into training for Rio 2016!
