This weekend the Joules festival team will be at CarFest South. Chris Evans gave up bread for Lent and to keep himself away from the bread bin he invented CarFest! The family festival really is one-of-a-kind; vintage cars will meet modern supercars and quality music will meet dancing diggers… we can’t wait!
When? Saturday 25th – Sunday 26th August 2012
Where? Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire
CarFest is about two things cars and music… Chris’ Magnificent Seven will lead the charge on the hill climb, there will be an auction so you can drive home in your dream car plus see a host of cars laid out in front of you, mostly classics, ancient and modern.
As twilight falls and the August sun slips behind a sea of tents, it’s time to plug in the guitars and get ready for some top quality rock n roll – a fun time for mums, dads and kids alike! On the Saturday bands include Texas, The Feeling, The Counterfeit Stones, Merrymouth and Rockoake and on the Sunday bands include Razorlight, The Magic Numbers and The Bootleg Beatles.
There will be lots of other activities to entertain the whole family from air displays and digger dancing to face painting and bread making classes.
Are you lucky enough to be going to CarFest this weekend? Come and see the team on the Joules stand and wang a welly with us to WIN free wellies… we’ll be raising money for the CarFest charity BBC Children in Need.
