On Friday 13th March, the Joules team donned their Harbours, got baking and painted their neighbours to raise money for Comic Relief. With over 100 people wearing a Harbour on the day (and a few male members of staff wearing Joules stripes for the cause), here’s a sneak peek behind the scenes of Joules HQ getting funny for money…
In the spirit of the day, we grabbed our face paints and ‘Painted Thy Neighbor’ – with giraffes, zebras, lions and superheroes all making an appearance on faces across HQ – with dogs and flowers (naturally) thrown into the mix too.
Finally, a week at Joules isn’t complete without baked goods, so we all got busy in the kitchen and hosted our very own Bake Off to raise those few extra pennies!
We had some stunning entries, including several different flavoured cakes (lemon, oreo, salted caramel, chocolate orange, vanilla and white chocolate & raspberry, in case you wondered) and pastries too. The judges were unanimous in their decision, and awarded the Joules Master Baker prize to Kenson in the Design Team, who baked the truly delicious white chocolate and raspberry pastries.
