Is the thought of the Olympics drawing to a close too much to bear? Do not fear… Cowes Week, the world’s most famous annual regatta, is just around the corner. World-class racing is of course at the heart of the event between 11-18th August.
Highlights of the week include Family Day on Sunday 12th August, there will be children’s flag making, painting competitions and model boat racing. Friday 17th August will see a day of Best of British celebrations – members of Skandia Team GBR and Team Volvo will be in Cowes just one week after competing for Great Britain and the celebrations will shift up a gear!
