The launch of the new Joules Collection is just around the corner, so we thought it was only fair to share a sneak preview with you…
Not so long ago we launched the new Joules Collection to our lovely shop managers, journalist friends, and a flock of sheep — so it would appear! So far 2012 has been the year to celebrate all things quintessentially British and we have certainly continued the British party into the Autumn season.
The women’s collection is regal, bold and bright – perfect for winter dressing with style. Some of our favourite pieces include elegant empire line dresses with blooming floral prints and the new shirts in cheery feminine silhouettes look great teamed with bold denim jeans. Then there is the anticipated return of our favourite intarsia jumpers in an array of hues featuring new animal designs. When the cooler days arrive we can’t wait to wear one of the new quilted jackets or tweed coats in wonderful wintery brights. Fans of the Joules quilted jacket will be delighted to hear that for Autumn we have mixed catwalk trends with tradition to bring a collection of new colours and styles, made to turn heads on country lanes and city streets. The new tweed jackets are full of charm, character and traditional British style featuring beautiful trims, hidden detailing and luxurious linings.
These are just a few of the beautiful florals and animal prints that nod to our countryside heritage! Will you choose a bold floral, elegant flying ducks, or the racing horses?
The original Joules Wellibob returns in bright pink. Embracing the great outdoors has never looked better with the new rage of premium wellingtons.
With the great outdoors in mind, Tom Joule and his team have created a classic men’s collection perfect for both town and country. A wax jacket is the must have piece for your wardrobe this Autumn, perfect for rambling, and a piece that will be loved for many years to come. The new moleskin and cord trousers are a staple for brightening up your look this Autumn – we love the purple moleskins and yellow cords, the question is will you be dressing them up with a waistcoat or opting for a more relaxed look with a quilted jacket?
Fit for land and sea the coastal inspired collection encapsulates the very essence of the British shore; traditional nautical chunky knitwear can be layered with a bright shirt or gilet for a pop of instant colour. We hear you asking if the much loved Crown Joules will be returning this Autumn… we can tell you exclusively that they are; in new prints and colours the new Crown Joules underwear collection is fit for a king!
Over in the Little Joule room we had some visitors from Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park; 3 little lambs that were just 4 weeks old. The lambs which were Cotswold, Kerry Hill and Norfolk Horn breeds sat contently on their bed of straw until it was feeding time – the farmer didn’t have enough bottles for everyone that wanted to feed a lamb!
