As a lifestyle brand, we value timelessness, quality and practicality just as much as we do style, colour and print. We don’t conform to the latest here-today-gone-tomorrow high-street trends but this doesn’t mean that we’re not scouting the streets for inspiration, perusing the latest fashion blogs for new shapes and styles and keeping an eye on what might be the next big thing to enter wardrobes all over the world. These things are important
This season you’ll read a lot about the styles that you should have close by, but there are three things in particular that are ticking the boxes of all fashionistas (and everyone else) everywhere. These three things are puffer jackets, velvet and ponchos.
Padded and puffa jackets have always been essential items throughout the colder months of the year. And over time (and thanks to the addition of our Warm Welcome collection) we’ve become experts at creating padded and quilted coats and jackets that do more than just fend off a freeze. Our Mottisfont Luxury Padded Jacket is perfect example of this – and will have you crossing your fingers for a cold snap. We’ve added a generous shawl collar to this feather and down filled padded style that will easily be the cosiest coat you’ve ever owned.
A classy, chunky knit, wool poncho should be a part of every woman’s winter wardrobe. A layer of true luxury, they can be worn over almost anything and will provide warmth in a truly stylish way. Our Perdy Knitted Poncho is a new layer that has a subtle texture with a warm handle (thanks to a touch of lambswool) and a curved hem. The moss stitch side panels and sumptuous roll neck only add to its appeal and elegance. If the forecast says ‘no rain’ it can be a great alternative to a coat.
Velvet is an essential part of any autumn and winter wardrobe. A grand and opulent fabric that’s often overlooked – this year it’s back. Our take on it is a dress that has been made with seasonal soirees firmly in mind. The Anneka Dress is perfect to be worn with tights, heels and accessorised as you wish – although we can’t help mentioning that it does look rather fetching when finished with a small glass of sherry.
