An Introduction to Astrology With Francesca Oddie
This year, Space Week falls in the first week in October and to celebrate we asked astrologer Francesca Oddie (@francescaoddieastrology) to tell us about more about the art of astrology as well as some of her top tips for investigating astrology further.
Do you have any top tips for investigating astrology?
Of course! I find it to be extremely comforting that the language or the stars can articulate so much. If you are interested in investigating astrology more, here are my 5 top tips to get you started:
Top tip #1. Your sun sign is a great starting point, but where were all the other planets in the sky the moment you were born? Find out what your Moon sign is and see how that describes who you are deep down!
Top tip #2. Make wishes at every new moon, write them down, watch how “coincidences” bring what is meant for you to you.
Top tip #3. Never pick partners based on astrology unless you have consulted a professional astrologer and even then… trust your gut.
Top tip #4. Read the forecasts of professional astrologers instead of horoscopes, you might find them easier to relate to!
Top tip #5. What time were you born?! Your rising sign depends upon this (to the nearest minute!) it describes how you appear to the world! Find out yours and ask friends and family what they think… I expect there will be laughter!
