The fabulous fashion and lifestyle blogger Andreea behind Launeden gives us her top tips for stylish autumnal dressing.
Love it, or loath it, autumn is officially on its way. To me, a new season seems like the perfect excuse to go shopping and upgrade my wardrobe. Nothing sets my heart aflutter like scooping a dreamy coat or a pair of boots.
This season, Joules have seriously upped their game – the brand’s AW16 collection is its best yet, packed with super-high quality, timeless and flattering buys.
Without further ado, here’s what you should buy now. Warning – you will want everything…
There’s nothing more key than a cape right now. The Contessa tweed cape is a real statement piece that’s not only going to keep me warm, but goes with everything in my wardrobe. A super versatile piece and really one of the chicest investments you can make for the colder season.
Take style notes from my ensemble and wear yours with a Harbour top, pencil skirt with bare legs and Chelsea boots.
Come full autumn, team a cape with a shift dress and Chelsea boots for a relaxed yet polished look. On colder days wear with tights and over-the-knee boots. Even throw a cape over some jeans and trainers when running errands at the weekend.
Amongst the wardrobe essentials that will stand the test of time is the tweed blazer. Joules’ Horatia tweed blazer will carry me through any occasion, from events to dinner parties and weekend outings.
Crafted from an in-house developed wool tweed and finished with a hand-drawn floral printed lining, this beautiful blazer is one big investment you won’t regret.
Joules make perfectly shaped skinny jeans. What can’t they get right? Super-stretchy and exceptionally flattering, the Monroe skinny jeans will make my life simpler. Warm and chic – they are the perfect winter combination.
Jeans can be dressed down with a white tee or a roll neck jumper for a casual daytime look or glammed up with a shirt and heels at night.
Given that I’m always cold, this grey wool coat will keep me warm and cozy, without losing style points either. Because of its slightly oversize style, I’d recommend wearing it with slim-fitted pieces.
