Attention all British heritage style lovers! The fashion world has continued its love affair with tweed this autumn, with houndstooth and herringbone weaves popping up on and around catwalks at New York Fashion Week. “This season even the most minimalist of the fashion crowd come clad in tweed and tied with a bow round the neck”, observed Anna Murphy of The Times. Here at Joules we design, develop and produce all of our own tweeds, lining them with our bespoke prints, buttons and trims. Our favourite twist-on-classic blazers have been tailored and re-designed to reflect the season’s feminine silhouettes. Read on for out-and-about tweed pics from bloggers Ashley James and Cider With Rosie, as well as Joules stylist Amy Dunne’s style tips on how to wear tweed.

Anna Murphy – The Times: Why the front row is in tweed this autumn
Rosie Chappel of Cider With Rosie is a self-confessed “old soul” who loves British heritage fashion and long walks with her cocker spaniel Teddy. She wears our Mr Toad Fieldcoat in her local Surrey woodland.
Layer the Portman Dogstooth blazer over a denim shirt, all buttoned up to draw attention to the collar. One of our shorter blazers which works beautifully with jeans.
For a subtle pop of tweed, wear our Mona wrap skirt with tights and boots or accessorise with a tweed Mapplewell shoulder bag.
