You can find exciting changes in our coastal stores this summer, with our new seaside concept launched in eleven stores including Salcombe, Falmouth and St Ives. The redesigns have captured the look and feel of a traditional British beach front infused with the usual Joules quirk, think childhood holiday nostalgia with racks of pastel postcards, sandcastle building essentials and stacks of crabbing kits on the shop front. Our interior colour palette has embraced the seaside feel with a new take on Joules brights; more white, blue and pops of vibrant pink. A great backdrop to all your favorite beach essentials including a range of suitably bright buckets, spades and sticks of rock.
The Joules Beside The Seaside store was born when our brand director Chloe Ward went on a family holiday to Salcombe, and thought how great it would be to be able to shop in an environment that had appeal for all of the family, in a fun and memorable space. Being Britain’s best loved ‘time off’ brand, providing practical and stylish kit for all adventures, Chloe felt it made sense that Joules could provide a unique shopping experience for a trip to the seaside.
Alongside your favorite men’s, women’s and children’s collections, you can pick up giftable items and souvenirs to help you remember your holiday, including locally themed products such as a Southwold mug or a Holt tea towel. Coastal fever has spread throughout Joules and after a team visit to Devon our print designers developed a range of seaside inspired prints which you’ll find on this season’s bedding and homewares. See some of our print designer Chloe Smith’s favourite pieces; the lighthouse adorned Lightwell door stop and the Shoreline Shell cushion.
