Joules Supports New Designers

We champion creativity and understand that without it Joules wouldn’t be where it is today. Our team is full of bright, colourful personalities who devote hours of love, care and attention to creating our unique prints and distinctive creative materials.
As a forward-thinking employer we’re always on the hunt for fabulously talented folk, so we’re excited to catch a glimpse of our creative future at the graduate design show, New Designers, that showcases over 3,000 of the brightest new creative minds.
We’ve met lots of fresh talent at past New Designers. Here are a couple of our former success stories.
DAN MATTHEWS
We met Dan at New Designers. He’s since designed this Sea Birds print for us.
It was a flyaway success in our SS17 Menswear range. We think you’ll agree, it looks great on our clothing.
CHLOE HILLS
2017 winner Chloe completed a month’s work experience in our print team. Read more about her journey and the inspiration behind her work here.
Once again we’re on the look-out for the next generation of innovative thinkers and makers at this year’s event and we’re offering two awards:
NEW DESIGNERS JOULES PRINT AWARD – 27TH JUNE
We’re looking for a print designer who displays an original style and a passion for colour. We don’t take ourselves too seriously so a sense of humour is a must. We take tradition and turn it on its head, so if you’re adept at handstands, a whizz with a Wacom and have a passion for print, we want to see your work.
NEW DESIGNERS JOULES GRAPHICS AWARD – 4TH JULY
At Joules we pride ourselves on standing out from the crowd, that’s what we’re looking for in our graphic design winner. We are excited by originality, fresh ideas, a vibrant use of colour and an intelligent use of humour. We’d love to meet someone who can remain creative in a commercial world.
