It’s time to break out the lighter fits to stay cool and comfortable in the office, out to dinner, visiting the family and spruced up at formals. Summer’s hero buy? The checked shirt. A pattern classic enough to blend in and bold enough to make a statement. Red and blue check is easily manipulated with alternating accessories – trainers, tan loafers, a statement watch, pocket square – whatever the event.
Gents, it’s June and a polo shirt and jumper now provide sufficient warmth to enable the removal of that faithful quilted jacket. (note: when we say remove, we simply mean substitute and fess up to still wearing our quilts for summertime dog walking duties, in muddy festival fields and on windy British beaches!) Pile on your polo with a crew neck or sweat shirt, then button up for a dapper finish or flash an insanely colourful sock for a preppy spin. You can’t go far wrong with our brilliant Bamboo brights.
