National Trust

To celebrate our collaboration with the National Trust we asked blogger Alison Perry of Not Another Mummy Blog to road test the new collection. Where better to do so than Morden Hall Park, a National Trust property on the outskirts of London.

“A couple of years ago, if you’d asked me whether I’d go to a National Trust property, I’d probably have rolled my eyes and muttered something about not being an OAP. But recently? Those eyes have been opened to a whole world of amazing day outs that I didn’t know existed before.

Whether you have kids and want somewhere for them to run around (and, let’s be honest, tire themselves out) or you fancy a little daytime date with your partner (think couple’s stroll, tea and cakes) National Trust properties are PERFECT!”

“A couple of weeks ago, we went to Morden Hall Park for lunch and a mooch and we were awe struck by how beautiful it was – from the gorgeous white bridge and spring daffodils to the snuff mills and stable yard. Around every corner is something to look at. And the scones in the café! Such a treat.

When you read about the work that the National Trust are doing at Morden Hall Park – things like restoring the rose garden by planting varieties of the flower that were available in the 1930s (when it was originally created) and renovating the stable yard into an energy efficient visitor centre, you realise how much love they invest into their properties.”
