New Year. Same weather.
The Christmas tree has been taken down, the halls are no longer decked (with boughs of holly) and no one will eat sprouts until next December. However, one thing is exactly the same as it was a few weeks ago – the weather.
It’s really cold outside. Really cold. We can sense spring (we think) and we’re certainly all dreaming of lighter evenings and the warmth of the sun, but that’s all it is right now, a dream.
With many more frosty mornings and nippy nights still to come, we’ve selected a few styles that will be perfect whenever the mercury dips a little. Here are a few ways in which (until it starts to warm up) you can outwit the weather in style.
Extremely lightweight this gilet is ideal for layering up, wearing on its own or under a coat, depending on the weather. We’ve added quilting stitch detail too for added texture and interest. A great addition to any outdoor wardrobe and a piece that you’ll turn to season after season.
If you want to keep warm this season, this slim-fitting gilet is the way to do it. Quilted for warmth and with a stand collar to ensure unwanted breezes aren’t bothersome, it’s perfect to throw on over all manner of tops and sweatshirts.
This women’s jacket is one of the reasons we love cold weather. This fitted jacket will make sure you can breeze through the freeze in style. And being such a timeless yet stylish piece of outerwear it can make an appearance season after season and not look out of place.
This classic shaped winter accessory has a soft feel and is extremely warm. A perfect way to beat the chill and add some texture and colour to your outfit.
Brighten up your wardrobe and keep the cold away with this classic, super soft women’s scarf. This season we’ve added even more colour, stripe and check options.
Our best-loved bobble hat is back! We’ve used our first-class faux-fur to create the bobble on this fine-cable knit and designed the collection to match all this season’s scarves. One is quite possibly not enough.
These gloves are extra-long so they can be worn with three quarter sleeved coats or ponchos. They’re ribbed to make them fit neater around the wrist, keeping out any draughts. And we’ve tapered the fingers for a better fit.
Cosy knits. Warm winter drinks. What’s your favourite thing about the cold weather?
