It’s time to spruce up your pooch, makeover your moggy and beautify your budgie because Pick My Pet is back! Following the excitement of last year’s competition (and because we loved seeing your pictures) we’re offering another lucky owner the chance to immortalise their pet on a Joules intarsia jumper.
We had over 1,000 entries last year, which we somehow managed to whittle down to finalists; Lucky Butterworth the hamster, Darcey the Vizsla, Mog the cat, Bambi the Shetland pony and, of course, the winner, Daisy the duck. The competition was high so choosing the finalists really was no picnic..
To save the arguments and keep the office harmonious the competition will be judged again by public vote; last year Daisy won with 1,721 votes; a close call as the runner up had 1,717! Proof, if it were ever needed, that every vote counts. The finished jumper that featured Daisy was our most popular intarsia to date. Proud owner Abbé Fox was thrilled with the finished result stating “I absolutely love the design and the colour .. And the little ‘Daisy the Duck’ label”.
So if you’ve got a good-looking goose, or a handsome horse then upload a photo via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #PickMyPet no later than Thursday 31st April. A 24-hour vote to find this year’s sweater star will be held on Friday 1st May.
