They’re a Little You, You’re a Little Them

4th March 2016

Did you ever wonder how your mum just knew what you were doing or thinking?  Perhaps you believed her when she told you she had eyes in the back of her head?  If you’re a mum yourself it all falls into place (sort of), a sixth sense you never knew you had is revealed and you develop a finely-tuned ability to foresee danger and trouble. A skill that the most heroic Marvel character would approve of.

Our mums are our first teachers; they can read us like books (even when we’re daft enough to think that we’re much cleverer than them). Their job – and yours, if you’re a mum – is to inspire, guide, steer, keep safe, feed, fix, cajole but above all, love.  They’ve been doing it since before day one, they know us inside out, they make us the people we are today.

With a bond that strong it’s no surprise that they’re a little bit of you and you’re a little bit of them.

We hope you enjoy the video, let us know what you think in the comments below.
