What to Wear: Our Half Term Style Guide for Little Ones

From clothes for the park to children’s party outfits, our Half Term style guide has everything you need to keep little ones comfy and stylish.

What to wear: Children’s clothes for a day in the park

The most important thing about outfits for the park? That they let little ones play! Opt for pieces like gilets or sweatshirts that allow plenty of movement, whilst keeping them warm. Make sure they’re wearing trousers or leggings to avoid bumps and scrapes (we love this pair) and closed shoes, such as these trainers, are perfect for all that running and climbing!

What to wear: outdoor clothes for adventuring

Where clothes for outdoor adventures are concerned, the more practical and waterproof the better. Waterproof coats and trousers are a great choice (it is the UK after all!), especially a puddle suit which can slip on over anything. Don’t forget a backpack for any snacks or treasures and a good pair of wellies, like these practical roll up pairs.

What to wear: the children’s party outfits

Every children’s party is different but there are a few outfits you simply can’t go wrong with. Tops with embroidered or sequin details always add something special, even better if they’re 3D! For smarter events, a pretty printed dress or a shirt are an easy win and can be paired with leggings or shorts so little legs can still run free.

P.S. If you’re looking for something really special, a personalised outfit will really make them stand out.

What to wear: cosy-at-home outfits

Would it really be a film night or a lazy morning without the cosiest of nightwear? A good pair of pyjamas are a must, as are dressing gowns, fluffy fleeces and a pair of toasty socks (did you spot the dinosaurs?). Lastly, add a pair of characterful children’s slippers to complete their cosy look.
