Embroidery is one of the key trends for this season and it’s not showing any signs of going away. We have long been a fan of the art and have created a range that is already causing quite a stir with customers and the fashion press alike. Embroidery has long been associated with folk art, it can tell stories of the place it was created or the artist who spent hours with the needle and thread, weaving in their own tales. We’ve taken inspiration from this heritage, so if you look closely, in true Joules style, you’ll see our own twist – seaside motifs woven into our designs; look out for beach huts, gulls, seahorses and shells. Here are some of our favourite pieces from the collection.
Hitting two trends at once – off the shoulder and embroidery, say hello to the Margot top. A statement piece that can be easily dressed up or down to suit any occasion. In chambray or soft pink with contrasting embroidery and cut from the softest cotton.
A long sleeved peasant top is a great idea for the warmer weather, particularly when it’s as beautifully embroidered as this one. With tassel ties to the neck, delicate pleats to the arms and shoulders and of course, extra special nautical-inspired embroidery.
A simple shift style dress is always a great summer option. We’ve made this one extra special with the addition of our bespoke embroidery. Made from a cotton and linen mix to make it perfect for warmer weather – this could well be your new favourite dress.
We’ve mixed on trend ikat fabric-inspired print with intricate embroidery to create the perfect summer top. Sleeveless to make it ideal for holidays and sunny days and with an eye-catching tassel tie. Pair with anything from shorts or jeans to a light summer skirt.
